Attorney Carrie Osowski
Carrie knew from an early age that she wanted to practice family law. Her parents divorced when she was six, and she experienced firsthand the impact separation can have on a child. Wanting to put that understanding to good use, Carrie set her eyes on a career in the legal field. She lived in various areas of central Minnesota before graduating from Milaca High School. Carrie then attended Winona State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in English and History. While in Winona, Carrie fell in love with the southeastern portion of Minnesota. Desiring a law school experience that emphasized justice, community involvement, and personal growth, Carrie chose to attend University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis.
While at the University of St. Thomas, Carrie was the Secretary for the Family Law Society. She also wrote two essays focusing on family law practices and their impact on families. Following her law school graduation, Carrie moved to Rochester to be closer to family. She greatly enjoys the change of pace from life in the Twin Cities, especially during rush hour. When not at work, Carrie spends her time running, gardening, and playing with her wife and their dog. She also regularly volunteers with Wills for Heroes, an organization that drafts estate planning documents for first responders and their spouses.
Carrie enjoys working with clients to create long-term solutions for her clients and their families.
